Azerbaijan intensively integrates into Euro-Atlantic space, Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Political Analyses and Dataware Department Head Elnur Aslanov said at Spring debates, which was organized by the public union Ireli. The debates were dedicated to the Day of Europe - May 5.
"Azerbaijan is intending to integrate into the Euro-Atlantic space and organizations. This is Azerbaijan's prior object," Aslanov said.
Aslanov said that he did not want to contrast Europe with Azerbaijan. "Europe experienced renascence within five centuries, while Azerbaijan experienced this epoch in 1870-1920," he said.
Aslanov said that he want to see Azerbaijani citizens as east with west pragmatism.
"East man respects moral values, and attached to history and religion," he said.
