Georgia hopes for the United Kingdom's active support. London actively supports Georgia's territorial integrity, State Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic integration, Vice Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze said before a meeting with British Minister for Europe Glenys Kinnock.
"We hope that the UK will intensify steps towards Georgia's rapprochement with the European Union and will assist in this, beginning from economic cooperation and ending with participation in establishment of the Russian-Georgian relations," Baramidze said.
British Minister for Europe Glenys Kinnock arrived in Tbilisi late at night.
During the visit, she will meet with representatives of official authorities and the opposition and non-governmental sector.
