By extending EU mission mandate in Georgia, Sweden as a chairing country at EU confirms its participation in stable developments in Georgia. Chair of the Parliamentary Commission on European Integration David Darchiashvili appraised extension of EU observation mission mandate in Georgia for one year more.
Some 27 EU member-countries approved agreement on extending mission. There is an agreement on extending EU observation mission mandate in Georgia from mid September by one year more, a source at EU said.
This agreement is expected to some out in a meeting of EU Foreign Ministers on July 27.
Talks on expanding EU mission in Georgia are held along with extending its mandate, Darchiashvili said.
