Azerbaijan is an example of a tolerant society, which is actively holding reforms, the president Pacific Council on International Policy, Jerry Green, said, the Azerbaijani consulate in Los Angeles reported.
Speaking at the ceremonial dinner organized by the Azerbaijani Consulate General in Los Angeles and the consular body of the city, Green shared his impressions on the visit to Azerbaijan in July, where he attended a conference on the 90th anniversary of the Azerbaijani diplomacy.
During his visit to Baku, Green made a speech at the Center for Strategic Studies under the Azerbaijani President.
Green spoke about foreign policy of the U.S President Barack Obama's administration towards Muslim world.
Spanish Consul General, Innocentio Arias and Azerbaijan's Consul General, Elin Suleymanov, also attended the ceremonial dinner in Los Angeles.
