The discussions emphasized the importance of the report on the impact of noise and light pollution on environment, which was approved at the committee meeting in Paris on Sept. 4. The committee once again mentioned the positive evaluation of Huseynov's report by the French experts.

It was noted that Huseynov's report is ready for the introduction in the agenda of the winter or spring session of the Assembly, in 2010. Besides, the committee meeting also marked high scientific and political level of Huseynov's report and the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe recommended to use the criteria established by the author, in the member countries of the CE.

Moreover, taking into account the importance of the report for all European countries, it was decided to publish it.

The Committee stressed that Huseynov's report investigated not only environmental problems but also the issue of human rights.
