U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs to pay her first visit to Azerbaijan (UPDATE)

U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Tina S. Kaidanow will pay her first visit to Azerbaijan on Oct.22 -24, the Spokesman of the U.S Embassy in Azerbaijan Terry Davidson told Trend News on Oct.20.

U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Tina S. Kaidanow will pay her first visit to Azerbaijan on Oct.22 -24, the Spokesman of the U.S Embassy in Azerbaijan Terry Davidson told Trend on Oct.20.

Currently Kaidanow is on visit in Yerevan where she meets with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and Armenian President Serzh Sagsyan.

Diplomat Tina Kaidanow replaced Matthew Bryza as U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in August 2009. This is Ms. Kaidanow's first visit to Azerbaijan as Deputy Assistant Secretary. 

The purpose of the visit is to discuss regional and bilateral issues.  During her visit, Ms. Kaidanow will meet with government officials, civil society representatives, and business leaders
