Georgian president and U.S. VP speak on phone

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and U.S. Vice President Joe Biden had a telephone conversation today, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.
During the conversation, the sides discussed bilateral relations and prospects for deepening cooperation under the U.S.-Georgian Charter of Strategic Partnership.
The sides also discussed the situation in the occupied Georgian territories.
Saakashvili paid special attention to the frequency of kidnappings in the conflict zones.
The kidnapping of four teens was also emphasized. The president asked Biden to use his authority and exert all efforts to rescue the teens.
