In 2010, Georgia established diplomatic relations with eight states, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said at the traditional Monday briefing.
She said diplomatic relations were established with Liberia, Botswana, Brunei, the Dominican Republic, Cape Verde, the Marshall Islands, Peru and Saint Lucia.
Kalandadze said a decision to open official representations in these countries has been adopted.
Georgia has diplomatic relations with 130 states from 191 UN member states.
