Azerbaijani ruling party discusses readiness for parliamentary elections with OSCE

Deputy chairman of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party Ali Akhmadov discussed the upcoming parliamentary elections, the preparation process and the activities of election commissions with the Head of OSCE Office in Baku, Ali Bilge Jankorel, the official website of the party said.

Deputy chairman of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party Ali Akhmadov discussed the upcoming parliamentary elections, the preparation process and the activities of election commissions with the Head of OSCE Office in Baku, Ali Bilge Jankorel, the official website of the party said.

The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for November.

The conducted and planned joint projects, as well as the prospects of relations between the ruling party and the OSCE were also discussed at the meeting.

Deputy executive secretary of the ruling party Siyavush Novruzov attended the meeting.

New Azerbaijan party was founded in 1992 by national leader Heydar Aliyev, when he was chairman of the Supreme Mejlis of Nakhchivan. Now, President Ilham Aliyev heads the ruling party.
