President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on July 8 visited Balakan region where the head of state honored Heydar Aliyev's monument erected, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
In term of solving socio-economic problems, the region's accomplishments attract attention. Many educational and public health institutes have been built here in the latest years. In comparison with 2003, total production volume in region has increased by 21 percent. The President has visited Balakan in 2006 and 2008.
After the head of state laid flowers on the monument of the National Leader, he was told that there is Heydar Aliyev Museum to propagate the Great Leader's heritage.
