The Uzbek government has provided tax relief to organizations that have provided humanitarian aid to Kyrgyz refugees, the Uzbek State Tax Committee reported.
The Uzbek Cabinet of Ministers adopted a relevant decree July 14.
Based on the document, organizations that provided humanitarian aid to the refugees may the deduct the cost of the supplied goods or services from their taxes.
The government has instructed the committee to compile a list of organizations eligible for the specified tax discounts.
Uzbek organizations have provided humanitarian aid worth 10 billion soum to the refugees.
