The Georgian President's press service considers it necessary to provide clarification to the expressions made by the President at a meeting in the Ministry of Finance.

During the meeting with the Georgian Finance Ministry's staff, Mikheil Saakashvili used expressions frequently voiced in the country - "we are not negros", bearing in mind that "one should not do so," the press service reports.

According to President's press service, Saakashvili's words doesn't concern any race and they were not uttered in the context of racial discrimination

The President's press service regrets that expressions used by Saakashvili, which weren't and will not be used in the racial discrimination, were deliberately interpreted by some media outlets as racial discrimination.
