Certain steps should be taken to develop the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy's Parliaments, Rossano Boldini, chairman of the Italian Senate's Standing Committee on the EU policy and head of the Azerbaijan-Italy parliamentary friendship group believes.
A group of senators of the Italian Parliament, headed by Boldini, is on visit to Azerbaijan for this purpose. Sept.24, the senators visited the Alley of Honors and Alley of Martyrs in Baku.
"The main goal of the visit is to strengthen the friendly relations between Italy and Azerbaijan's parliaments," Boldini told journalists.
During the visit, which will last until Sept.25, the delegation will hold meetings in the Azerbaijani Parliament and the Foreign Ministry.
