The "Coalition of election monitoring - 2010" began on Friday a series of trainings for the observers to the upcoming parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.

The training will cover the nine regions of the country.

The "Coalition of election monitoring - 2010" was created by a group of NGOs to observe the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.

The coalition also aims to promote free and fair elections and inform public about the electoral process.

The coalition's activities will cover 80 constituencies. The monitoring will be held  by about 3,000 people.

Parliamentary elections are scheduled for Nov. 7. Previous legislative elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 electoral constituencies.
