The "hot line" service operating under the 'Elections' Information Centre under the Azerbaijani Central Election Commission (CEC) has received 50 appeals over the parliamentary elections up to now, Centre Head Ramil Huseynov told Trend.
"The appeals were mainly of informative nature," Huseynov said.
The "hot line" service has not received complaints related to violations in the voting process, he said.
Azerbaijan has today launched the parliamentary elections at 08:00 local time.
The Azerbaijani Central Election Commission (CEC) reported that 690 candidates are running for parliamentary elections.
Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies. Previous parliamentary elections were held in November 2005.
