The Azerbaijani customs officers detained a person engaged in the smuggling of mobile phones into the country from Iran and Turkey.
The detained was smuggling mobile phones from Iran and Turkey to Baku via the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee reported.
The officers seized 28 mobile phones brand "Samsung GT-C5212" and 28 - brand "Samsung-S5230" from Azerbaijani citizen Sadigov Parvin's cargo while unloading the aircraft en route the 254 Nakhchivan-Baku. The officers drew up an appropriate protocol.
A criminal case was launched into the fact. The investigation is underway.
