On Wednesday, a meeting of ECO Council of Foreign Ministers was completed on the eve of the 11 th Summit of Presidents and Heads of Governments of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member-states, Turkish newspaper Zaman reported.
During the meeting, foreign ministers of ECO member-states have prepared the final text of the Istanbul declaration, which will be announced at the end of the summit on Thursday.
ECO was founded in 1985 by Iran, Pakistan and Turkey. Today it also includes Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
