Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri today pays a week-long visit to the U.S..
Prime Minister's spokesman Niko Mchedlishvili said that the visit has a working character. "The PM will hold working meetings at the Millennium Challenge Fund, as well as with various financial institutions and international organizations," Mchedlishvili said.
He added that the visit will last for one week. In this regard, a Georgian state meeting will be held today.
It should be noted that Millennium Challenge Fund recently decided to allocate regular assistance to Georgia. During Gilauri's visit, the amount of assistance may be determined.
