OSCE official arrives in Tbilisi

Lithuanian Foreign Minister, OSCE Chairman-in-Office Audronius Azubalis left Baku for Tbilisi on Tuesday night. Azubalis is visiting the region as the OSCE chairman.
Georgian First Deputy Foreign Minister Nikoloz Vashakidze met Azubalis at the airport.
Azubalis told journalists at the airport that Lithuania's priority during its OSCE chairmanship is to make progress in the settlement of conflicts in the Caucasus, including Georgia.
"I will hold many meetings and during them we will discuss a number of problems related to conflict resolution and democratization," he said.
In turn, Vashakidze stressed that Lithuania is a friendly country for Georgia, and Tbilisi hopes for assistance in resolving conflicts.
Azubalis will hold the first meeting with his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze today.
