Belarus appreciates keenly Azerbaijan's support in the issue concerning the country's participation in the EURONEST, Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Viktor Guminsky said as he met with Chairman of the Azeri parliamentary permanent committee for legal policy and nation-building, head of the Azeri parliamentary delegation to the EURONEST Ali Guseinov on 21 April, BelTA reported.
According to the Vice Speaker, Belarus and Azerbaijan have friendly, brotherly relations. Viktor Guminsky thanked the Parliament of Azerbaijan for its constructive and weighted position regarding the issue of Belarus' participation in the EURONEST. The Belarusian official believes that mutual understanding between the parliaments of the two countries promote development of relations between the states.
As regards Belarus' relations with the European organizations, the Azeri official noted that Europe "maintains some dogma against Belarus and there are particular forces there that create it actively and professionally". The last PACE session testifies to the fact. Even those parliamentarians who expressed positive attitude towards Belarus on the sidelines of the summit voted for the resolution on sanctions against Belarus.
