The Azerbaijani government has decided to establish a separate department for the training personnel for the defense industry complex, the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
Based on the decision, it was agreed with the Azerbaijan Technical University (ATU) to establish a faculty for special equipment and technology and relevant departments in accordance with the procedure established by the Education Ministry.
The Education Ministry should ensure the preparation and approval of the charter of this faculty in the prescribed manner. In addition, the Education Ministry must submit to the Cabinet proposals developed together with the Defense Industry Ministry on specialties they must learn.
The two ministries were tasked to carry out measures to deal with the creation of material-technical base of the faculty's relevant departments in accordance with modern requirements, as well as the organization and conduct of the educational process and providing teaching materials.
