The Azerbaijani parliament has approved changes to the Code of Administrative Offenses relating to transit violations.

The Azerbaijani parliament has approved changes to the Code of Administrative Offenses relating to transit violations.

According to the changes, foreigners and stateless people will be fined to the amount of 300-400 manat for violating the law when applying for a job, staying and living in a country with false documents, the undeclared activity, failure to leave the country after
the period specified by law.

Moreover, officials, creating conditions for the illicit transit of foreigners and stateless people through the territory of Azerbaijan and their other illegal acts will be fined to the amount of 300-500 manat.

MPs stressed that there were the illegal activities of foreigners.
They said that control over foreigners must be strengthened in the country in this direction.
