Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has invited Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov to pay a state visit to Malaysia, a joint communique issued on Razak's visit to the country reads.
"Tun Razak heartily invited President Berdimuhammedov to pay a state visit to Malaysia at a mutually convenient time," the communique reads.
Berdimuhammedov received the invitation with gratitude. Dates of the visit will be arranged through diplomatic channels.
