The meetings of the presidents during Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Azerbaijan, their statements, face-to-face discussion of bilateral relations and with members of the delegations have once again shown that it is impossible to disorder the relations between the two countries, Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Social and Political Department Chief Ali Hasanov said. He was commenting on the results of Erdogan's visit.

"Azerbaijan and Turkey are allies, which are unique in the world," Hasanov said. "Their union is based on mutual interests, the interest in the fate of our peoples. Their union in the region and the world rests on the coincidence of our national interests."

Hasanov said that there were different "opponents" for a long time who tried to assess the relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan from their positions.

"I think that after yesterday's meeting, they will be convinced of the complete groundlessness of their arguments," Hasanov said. "Azerbaijan and Turkey have once again proved that they are strategic partners in the world, in the region, in international relations, in combat terrorism. They are allies, whose alliance is based on mutual interests in political-economic and trade relations."

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan paid the second official visit to Azerbaijan on July 27 after the Turkish government is reformed.
