The so-called Public Chamber has been created to receive grants, Ahmed Oruj, chairman of Azerbaijani opposition party "Azadlig" believes.
"Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) and Musavat party created the so-called Public Chamber as a mechanism to receive grants not considering the views of other opposition parties and not creating conditions for other political parties' normal representation here," Oruj told Trend on Thursday.
Oruj stressed that the bloc is a more effective form of activity rather than the separate functioning of political parties, as the interests of parties are agreed in blocs at least.
"That is, it is easier to coordinate the interests of one bloc rather than the interests of individual parties. Therefore, the process of creating the bloc is a positive trend for dialogue between the parties," Oruj said.
However, Deputy Chairman of the PFPA Nureddin Mammadli finds Oruj's opinion unfounded. Mammadli stressed that the so-called Public Chamber joined the real forces of the Azerbaijani opposition today.
