President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received the Iraqi delegation led by chief of the parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations Humam Hamoody.
The Head of State praised successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Iraq.
President Ilham Aliyev recalled the Iraqi PM`s visit to Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani leader stressed the two countries` resoluteness in developing cooperation in all fields.
The Head of State underlined the importance of interparliamentary ties for development of bilateral relations.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence the visit of the Iraqi delegation to Azerbaijan would serve expansion of cooperation between the two countries.
The chief of the Iraqi parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations expressed pleasure with their visit to Azerbaijan.
Humam Hamoody said the stable society was formed in Iraq.
He added Iraq was interested in boosting cooperation with neighboring countries, in particular with Azerbaijan in the fields of economics, trade and investment.
