Exchange of high-level visits between Georgia and Japan discussed in Tbilisi

Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia met with the Director of Department of Central Asia and Caucasus of the European Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan Masaki Ikegami on Monday.
The parties discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries in bilateral and multilateral formats. Particular attention was paid to the exchange of high-level visits in 2012 and activities related to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Georgian-Japanese diplomatic relations, Foreign Ministry of Georgia told Trend.
The Japanese once again announced its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
The Japanese delegation also met with representatives of departments in Asia, Africa, Australia and Oceania and the CIS countries.
