The OSCE Office in Baku held an event at the Baku Slavic University, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan's membership in this organization.
Head of OSCE Office in Baku Koray Torgai gave a lecture on "The OSCE and Azerbaijan: the path traveled together for 20 years" He provided students with information on the mandate, priorities and projects undertaken by the organization.
"The beginning of a series of events in the Slavonic University is not accidental. Role of youth in development, democratization and strengthening the Azerbaijani position in the world is big. In this regard, we wanted to inform Azerbaijani youth, future diplomats of the work implemented and hear their opinions," Torgai said.
Torgai noted that the OSCE has supported Azerbaijan for over the past 20 years, carried out many projects in the field of democratization, human rights and legal reforms. Azerbaijan has achieved significant development in these areas.
