Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Korean ambassador to Azerbaijan Lee Jiha on completion of his diplomatic mission, the Foreign Ministry told Trend on Thursday.
Mammadyarov said that Azerbaijan and Korea are developing successful cooperation, and as an example he called the activities of various Korean companies in the country.
The minister thanked the ambassador for the work done for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Korea, and stressed the importance of mutual exchange of visits. Mammadyarov also wished Lee Jiha success in his future endeavors.
The ambassador, in his turn, said that the period of his activity in the country was very fruitful, and stressed that Korea attaches great importance to developing relations between the peoples and governments of the two countries.
Lee Jiha expressed his gratitude for the fruitful cooperation.
