A delegation of political consultants from the European Parliament will visit Azerbaijan from October 31 to November 3, Euronest PA office in Azerbaijan told Trend today.
The guests will meet with deputy chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Geray Farhadov, deputy executive secretary of the ruling party New Azerbaijan Mubariz Gurbanli, head of the Human Rights Department under the foreign ministry Alimirzamin Asgarov, the Azerbaijani delegation to Euronest PA, as well as civilian activists on Nov. 2.
The representatives of the European Parliament will visit the IDP settlement in the Agdam region. They will become familiar with the sights of the capital - the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, Maiden's Tower and the concert venue the Cristal Hall on the same day in Baku.
On the final day of the visit made at the invitation of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Euronest PA, it is planned to meet with leaders of the opposition parties - chairman of the United Azerbaijan Popular Front Party Gudrat Hasanguliyev, chairman of the Movement of National Revival Faraj Guliyev, chairman of Great Revival Party Fazil Mustafa. On the same day, a meeting will be held with SOCAR vice-president Elshad Nasirov.
