The ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) has announced the start for preparation for the election campaign. This was stated by Deputy Chairman-Executive Secretary of Azerbaijan's ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) Ali Ahmadov during a speech at a meeting of regional and municipal organizations, organized by NAP in Khatai district of Baku on Saturday.
"We hold meetings with the chairmen of regional organizations on any important issue and provide guidance," he said.
According to him, local structures of the party have begun preparations for the upcoming presidential election.
The meeting, he said, focused on holding the election campaign by local structures at a high level.
"As you know, the next presidential election in Azerbaijan will is scheduled for 2013. According to the tradition, NAP gives start to preparation for the campaign, which will begin later, in order to provide high activeness of the campaign and victory of the proposed candidate," he said.
According to Ahmadov, all analyzes confirm that nomination of Ilham Aliyev for the upcoming election is a chance for Azerbaijani citizens to realize their desires.
Large projects have been implemented at the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev to ensure rapid development of the economy of Azerbaijan, improve the welfare of people and form a new image of Azerbaijan in the international arena.
