The prime minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili met on Monday with the secretary general of Parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe Woyzeck Sawicki in Strasbourg.

The prime minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili met on Monday with the secretary general of Parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe Woyzeck Sawicki in Strasbourg.

Bidzina Ivanishvili acquainted the secretary general of PACE with the current reforms in Georgia. The question of settlement of the Georgian-Russian relations was also discussed.

Ivanishvili also met with eurocommissioner for Human Rights Nils Muzhnieks in Strasbourg.

The prime minister thanked the eurocommissioner for the active cooperation and for the principled position which he took concerning the elicited facts of unworthy relation to the prisoners in Georgia.

The parties also discussed the preparation of objective information on observance of human rights in the occupied territories of Georgia.

The meeting was attended by other Georgian delegations also.
