The visit of Monaco Prince Albert II to Azerbaijan's exhibition hall organized with the support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation at the 55th Venice Biennale was covered by the Italian press as a major event.

"Cultura"&Tempo libero" newspaper called the visit of Monaco Prince to the Azerbaijani pavilion as an important event for the Venice Biennale.

Recall that on October 15 during the 55th Venice Biennale, the reigning Prince of Monaco Albert II familiarized with Azerbaijan's exhibition hall organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and watched examples of contemporary art presented under the motto 'Ornaments'.

The Italian newspaper "La Nuova" reported that on October 15, the Prince of Monaco took the opportunity to visit the Azerbaijani exhibition hall, which opened within the 55th Venice Biennale in Campo Santo Stefano.

At the Azerbaijani exhibition hall he was met by the Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Anar Alakbarov and the president of the "PDG Arte Communications" organization Paolo De Grandis.

The article said that the Prince of Monaco stressed the importance of Azerbaijan's participation at the Venice Biennale and expressed satisfaction with familiarization with the exhibition hall.

It should be noted that the Prince of Monaco visited only Azerbaijan's exhibition of all national pavilions in the Venice Biennale. He underlined the interest in holding such projects in Monaco too which serve to promotion of the Azerbaijani culture.

Azerbaijani exhibition hall 'Ornaments', which is located in the XIV century Lezze Palace in Campo Santo Stefano, was opened on June 1 and will work till November 24.

The exhibition hall presents Azerbaijan's national cultural heritage thanks to six pieces of art by contemporary artists ofAzerbaijan - Rashad Alekperov, Fakhriyya Mammadova, Chingiz, Sanan Alesgerov, Bunutay Hagverdiyev and Farid Rasulov.
