By Elena Kosolapova - Trend:The missile ships Dagestan and Grad Svijazhsk of the Russian Caspian Flotilla will visit the ports of the three Caspian states - Azerbaijan, Iran and Kazakhstan in October, Itar-Tass reported with the reference to Russian Southern Military District on Sept. 5.
"In early October, the ships will go on combat duty in the Caspian Sea. Within 20 days the sailors besides combat training plans to make friendly visits to the ports of the three littoral states for the development and strengthening of international cooperation," Russian Southern Military District said.
Within the visit to Kazakh port Aktau Russian missile ships will hold joint exercises with the Kazakh Navy.
The ships will run more than 1,500 miles during their cruise around the Caspian Sea.
The honor guards and military orchestra of the Caspian Flotilla are preparing to meet foreign delegations and holding tours around the ship.
