Azerbaijan and Ukraine are expected to hold a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alexander Mishchenko said on Nov.4.
He made the remarks at a press conference, following the parliamentary election held on Oct.26 in Ukraine.
The ambassador said the heads of the two countries meet within the Council of Presidents of Azerbaijan and Ukraine once a year.
"There are plans concerning the visit of Ukrainian president to Azerbaijan. The exact date of the visit will be determined through diplomatic channels." Mishchenko said.
"We can more specifically talk about the president's visit after the commission's meeting," Ukrainian ambassador added.
