State Security, Foreign Intelligence services created in Azerbaijan
Baku, Azerbaijan, Dec.14
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to create the State Security Service and Foreign Intelligence Service of Azerbaijan.
The decision has been made to increase the effectiveness of work of security services and to improve the structure of public administration, according to the decree.
These services have been instructed to present the draft regulations, proposals on the structure and number of employees to Azerbaijan's president within a month.
Moreover, the Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to ensure the financing of activities of these services with the funds planned to allocate to the Ministry of National Security from the state budget for 2015 and 2016, as well as to resolve the issues related to the material and technical maintenance of the services.
