Azerbaijan successfully continues the research and development works to create 125 products of military purpose, the country’s minister of defense industry, Yaver Jamalov said Sept. 27.
He made the remarks at the opening of the ADEX 2016 – 2nd Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition.
Enterprises producing military equipment, weapons and ammunition have been completely reconstructed as a result of cooperation with partner countries in order to ensure security of Azerbaijan, the minister said.
“Our enterprises are able to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan,” Jamalov said. “Their production has reached the level of NATO standards.”
