BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 23. Azerbaijan is taking steps to open Zangazur corridor and it will allow Azerbaijan to become a logistics center in Eurasia, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev said at a meeting of the Azerbaijani-Romanian intergovernmental commission, Trend reports.
Relations between Azerbaijan and Romania are developing. We intend to strengthen our ties with the EU with the help of Romania, he said.
According to Mammadguliyev, Azerbaijan intends to strengthen cooperation with Romania in trade and transport areas.
Azerbaijan at the post-conflict stage has clearly formulated its priorities, deputy minister noted.
"This position is about restoration and cooperation, lasting peace. Azerbaijan is taking steps to eliminate the consequences of the destruction that the Armenians have been committing for 30 years," Mammadguliyev added.
