BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 18. Issues of reintegration of Armenian residents of Karabakh into Azerbaijani society were discussed at the "Dialogue with Tofik Abbasov" program on the Baku Network expert platform, Trend reports.
The guests of the program were Chief director of the Azerbaijan State Academic Russian Drama Theater, Head of the Baku religious Community of European Jews, People's Artist of Azerbaijan Aleksandr Sharovsky and Director of the Baku Jewish School, Chairman of the Azerbaijani-Georgian Jewish community Rabbi Zamir Isayev.
According to Sharovsky, the integration of the Armenian residents of Karabakh into Azerbaijani society is a matter of time.
"When I meet Baku Armenians abroad, they say they miss the atmosphere in Baku. Azerbaijan is a center of multiculturalism and tolerance," he said.
According to Isayev, the living conditions of the Jewish community in Azerbaijan are a vivid example of tolerance in the country.
"Representatives of all nationalities living in Azerbaijan showed unity during the second Karabakh war," he said.
Isayev pointed out that integration is a salvation for the Armenian minority of Karabakh, a path to the future that they could only dream of.
