BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 7. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the inauguration of a new building of the Serkar village children's music school constructed in Samukh as part of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s “Support for Education” project, Trend reports.
Assistant to the President Anar Alakbarov informed the head of state about conditions created in the building.
Construction of the 300-seat new school began in July 2021 with Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s funding and was completed later November. The total area of the 3-storey school is 2500 square meters.
The school houses 29 classrooms, orchestra, chorus and medical rooms, locker room, canteen and assembly hall.
President Ilham Aliyev was briefed on the works done in the Serkar village of the Samukh district.
The new park was inaugurated here. It has an outdoor athletic ground. A new medical station to serve 6 thousand residents was put into operation in the village of Serkar with Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s support.
President Ilham Aliyev was told that a new building for a nursery-kindergarten is being built in the city of Samukh with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s funding.
