BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 15. I am confident that today's conference will help strengthen existing ties and effectively fight geopolitical realities and global cataclysms and I believe that the event in Shusha will become a starting point for new strategic goals, the Executive Secretary of Kazakhstan's Amanat party Daulet Karibek said, Trend reports.

He made the statement at the international conference "Organization of Turkic States: towards new strategic goals in the context of geopolitical realities and global cataclysms" held in Shusha on June 15.

The party representative noted that the organization of the event in the city of Shusha, the cradle of the culture of Azerbaijan, declared the Cultural Capital of the Islamic World 2024, has a symbolic meaning, and recalled that Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev made a trip to Shusha during his state visit to Azerbaijan in March this year.

Furthermore, mentioning that international law is losing its value and significance, Karibek emphasized that the global system of control and balance is incapable of maintaining peace and stability.

"It is gratifying that against the background of all this, the role of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is growing. In the current difficult geopolitical conditions, the OTS continues to be one of the drivers keeping international politics on rational and pragmatic lines, providing logistics, transportation, and diplomatic relations in the international arena," the executive secretary of the Amanat party added.

To note, the international conference "Organization of Turkic States: towards new strategic goals in the context of geopolitical realities and global cataclysms" is being held in Shusha under the organization of the New Azerbaijan Party. The conference is attended by up to 300 guests, including leaders of the ruling parties of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and observers.

Three plenary sessions will be organized within the framework of the international conference: "Organization of Turkic States: Regional contribution to global security," "Unity of modernity and common values: Party diplomacy as a new platform for dialogue," and "Turkic World 2040: a conceptual view of the future".
