BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 25. Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov and Belarusian Minister for Emergency Situations Vadim Sinyavsky explored prospects for strengthening collaboration in emergency prevention and response, Trend reports, citing the statement of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.
The two sides exchanged views on the supply of firefighting equipment.
"The meeting highlighted the satisfaction with the high level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus, emphasizing the crucial role of the heads of state in ensuring the dynamic development of all aspects of cooperation. It was noted that a long-term partnership has been established between the emergency ministries of both countries in the areas of prevention and response to emergencies, including experience sharing and training," the statement reads.
The importance of signing a Comprehensive Action Plan in June this year for 2025–2027 to implement the Cooperation Agreement between the emergency ministries of Azerbaijan and Belarus, established in 2006, was also underscored.
