Chairman of the Central Electoral Committee (CEC) of Azerbaijan Mazahir Panahov on 10 August received the first advisor of the French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Silven Geogen, CEC told Tend.
Geogen noted, the French observers would arrive in Azerbaijan within the OSCE mission. The French diplomat got interested in the current state of affairs concerning the preparations for the parliamentary elections. Panahov informed the guest of the candidates’registration process, as well as the CEC’s trainings and workshops.
