The government-opposition meetings will incredibly take place, Sabir Rustamkhanli, the chairman of the Civil Solidarity Party (CSP), told Trend.
Next round of the dialogue was to be staged by the CSP, but the sides could not come to an agreement. According to Rustamkhanli, the Yeni Azerbaijan Party (New) refused to participate at the meeting if the Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (PFAP-reformers) joined it.
“I held negotiations with the parties on continuation of the meetings, but did not achieve result. The Yeni Azerbaijan Party refused meeting. I’ll attempt once more. If it refuses anew, the dialogue will not take place,” Rustamkhanli said.
