On Thursday Azerbaijani Interior Minister Ramil Usubov held a short briefing for journalists to inform express his attitude towards the suicide by Mazahir Aliyev, the Police Colonel, the head of the Criminal Search Division of the Interior Ministry, Trend reports.
The Minister said Aliyev’s death should not be politicized. ”He clarified the reasons for suicide in his death letter to the family,” the Minster underlined. Aliyev’s co-workers also asserted that the colonel suffered from illness over the past period.
Usubov regarded the rumors on tragedy as disrespect to late colonel.
