The Unity Party, Free Azerbaijan Party, New Turan Party, National Democratic Party, Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (classic) and Fedains Party concluded an agreement on participation of single opposition candidates. The issue was considered at the roundtable on organization of joint struggle by political parties, blocs and independent candidates against falsifications in the elections at the initiative of the National Democratic Party.
Isgandar Hamidov, the chairman of the National Democratic Party, noted that the goal of the roundtable was to discuss the issue of the single candidates 20-25 days before the voting.
Touching upon the agreement between parties on this issue, chairman of the National Independence Party Ali Aliyev stressed that the time came for this.
Mahmud Miralioglu, the chairman of the PFAP (c), expressed hope that they would solve the issue in late October.
Other leaders also supported the idea.
