вЂ�The majority of documents to be signed during President Ilham AliyevвЂ™s forthcoming official visit to Bulgaria on 23-24 September are ready,вЂќ Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister, Khalaf Khalafov, head of the governmental working group which is currently in Sofia to carry out preparations for the visit, told Tend in a telephone talk.
According to Khalafov, the talk with the Bulgarian side is due to complete today [Wednesday]. The experts considered most part of the agenda of the forthcoming talks. вЂњThe Presidents plan to discuss bilateral and regional cooperation, issues concerning international relationships,вЂќ he noted.
It is panned to sign 8-10 interstate and interdepartmental agreements on cooperation between the state televisions, veterinary services, in the sphere of tourism, sports, on evasion dual taxation, in the sphere of phitosanitary.
The head of states are expected to sign a memorandum on cooperation between the two countries in joining to the European Union. Under the visit scheduled for the second half of September it is planned to hold a business forum and Azerbaijani businessmen will go Sofia in this connection. The forum will work in two directions вЂ" tourism, as well as investments and construction.
The visit to be paid at the invitation of Bulgarian President Georgiy Pirvanov will come as a reply to Bulgarian leaderвЂ™s official visit to Azerbaijan in 2004.
During the visit the head of state will continue the dialogue started earlier on the delegation of the bilateral cooperation. The visit program includes President AliyevвЂ™s meeting with Pirvanov, as well as Prime Minister Sergey Stepashin, Speaker Georgiy Pirinskiy. The heads of state are going to participate in the final part of the forum with the Azerbaijani and Bulgarian businessmen. .
