“Steven Mann, the U.S. co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group, will arrive in Baku in late September,” Rino Harnish, the U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan, told journalists, Trend reports.
According to Harnish, Mann will discuss the current stage of the negotiations on settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict during the meeting in Baku.
Harnish also comment on U.S.-rendered annual financial aid to the separatist regime of Nagorno-Karabakh and absent of similar measures in regard to other conflict zones in the post soviet area. According to Harnish, the United States renders aid to refugees and internally displaced people all over the world.
“Besides, the United States renders aid to the victims of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict at the expense of the numerous humanitarian aids in Azerbaijan.
The Congress allots funds to help the victims of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. All the work done by the United States aimed at achievement of long-term peace on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue,” he underlined.
