The Liberal Party of Azerbaijan (LPA), the election blocs �Azadlig’ and �Yeni Siyasat’ will address to the Central Election Committee (CEC) anew with relation to free air time during the election campaign,” Avaz Temirkhan, the chairman of the executive committee of the LPA.
According to Temirkhan, he will start negotiations with the blocs in this week. They will hold consultations to come to agree about combining of free air time and sending an appeal to the CEC. The LPA proposes to combine 4-minute air time and give any party 12-minute time.
Every party, gained free air time, totally receives 54 minutes for speech and debates. The LPA proposed to allot 12 minutes 3 times in a week only for speeches, but the rest time for debates.
Temirkhan also said that the appeal would be send notonly to the CEC, but also to international organizations such as the representative offices of the OSCE, Council of Europe and foreign embassies in Azerbaijan.
