Zakir Garalov, the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, Khanlar Veliyev, the Military Prosecutor, and the subordinated officials paid a tribute at former late President Heydar Aliyev’s tomb and Cemetery of Martyrs on the occasion of 87th year of the establishment of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
“Staring from the signing of a relevant decree by former late President Heydar Aliyev on 1 October 1998, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan takes a permanent and active part in the defense of statehood, fighting with crime and defense of citizens’ rights and freedoms,” Garalov noted.
According to Garalov, no serious event has been planned on the occasion of the holiday. “Some employees of the Prosecutor General’s Office were increased in rank and post, and receives purse,” he underscored.
